
Welcome to the International Photo Contest, sponsored by The iam Pageant Powerhouse. This is a fabulous opportunity for you (or your loved ones) to showcase your amazing personality through your award-winning photos you probably already have. Show off your beautiful photos, gain recognition, and win some amazing prizes! This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone, including those with no previous experience, pageant contestants, aspiring models or industry professionals. This contest is open to young ladies ages 0-24! We cannot wait to see your amazing photos! Photos must be submitted by April 20th at 11:59pm PST. This contest is now closed.
We are looking for girls with or without prior modeling or pageant experience, aspiring models, actors, and pageant contestants to showcase their favorite photos. You do not have to be a registered NAM or IJM contestant to compete.

Age as of January 1st, this year
Group 1: 0-3 years old
Group 2: 4-6 years old
Group 3: 7-9 years old
Group 4: 10-12 years old
Group 5: 13-15 years old
Group 6: 16-18 years old
Group 7: 19-24 years old
You can use a professional photo, a fabulous photo that you have on your phone, or even a school photo. Headshots, full-length, black and white, color and anything in between is great.
Entry Fee
- 1 photo entry is $20.00 (each additional photo up to 3 is $15.00 each)
- 5 photo entries is $50.00
- Up to 20 entries is $100.00
Tips
- Stay away from over filtered photos, the judges want to see YOU
- This does not have to be a pageant headshot
- Try to make sure you are the only person in the photo
- High resolution good quality photos work best
- No swimsuit photos; each entry should be age appropriate.
WINNER* in each age group will receive:
- A feature on the various Official IAM, NAM and IJM Social Media Channels.
- A full scholarship to their 2023 NAM State Pageant (up to $550 off) or $550 off of your 2023 IJM International Package Fees.
- Golden ticket automatic invitation to compete in the 2023 National All-American Miss National Pageant and the 2023 International Junior Miss International Pageant.
- Two iam all-access passes to be used at the 2023 iam Internationals Event. ($260.00 value)
- One free photogenic entry to be used at the 2023 iam International Event. ($175.00 value)
4 RUNNERS-UP* in each age group will receive:
- A feature on the various Official IAM, NAM and IJM Social Media Channels.
- One free photogenic entry for their 2023 NAM State Pageant or a $100 credit towards the 2023 IJM International Package Fees.
- Golden ticket automatic invitation to compete in the 2023 National All-American Miss National Pageant or the 2023 International Junior Miss International Pageant.
TOP 20* in each age group will receive:
- Announcement on the various Official IAM, NAM and IJM Social Media Channels.
- Golden ticket automatic invitation to compete in the 2023 National All-American Miss National Pageant and the 2023 International Junior Miss International Pageant.
*The Age Group 1 winner and runners-up will receive the prizes listed above, but all NAM/IJM awards will be held until their first year of eligibility for their NAM/IJM pageant (which is age 4, as of January 1st)

Do I have to be registered for NAM or IJM to enter The iam Pageant Powerhouse Photo Contest?
No, any young lady between the ages of 0 and 24 years old (as of January 1st) can enter The iam Pageant Powerhouse International Photo Contest.
Do I have to be registered for NAM or IJM to collect my prize?
No, winners do not have to be registered to receive social media recognition.
YES, winners and runners-up DO have to be registered for a NAM/IJM Pageant to collect their NAM/IJM related prizes and they must meet the rules and regulations of NAM/IJM.
What if I am already fully paid for this year’s NAM/IJM Pageant and I win the contest in my age?
If you have already fully paid your sponsorship fee, your account will be credited for the amount you paid toward your pageant fees.
What if I am selected as a winner or runner-up of my age division’s photo contest but I choose not to compete at a NAM/IJM pageant?
You will receive all the other prizes listed, but you must participate at a NAM/IJM pageant in order to utilize your NAM/IJM award. Awards do not have a cash value and are not transferable to another contestant. They must be used at the designated NAM/IJM pageant.
What if my child is a winner or runner-up in age group 1?
The Age Group 1 winner and runners-up will receive the prizes listed, but all NAM/IJM scholarships will be held until their first year of eligibility for their NAM/IJM pageant (which is age 4, as of January 1st).
What if I cannot compete in NAM/IJM this year, am I eligible to compete in The iam Pageant Powerhouse Photo Contest?
YES, you can still compete in The iam Pageant Powerhouse International Photo Contest even if you do not plan to compete at NAM/IJM. The winners and runners-up will still be featured on the Official IAM, NAM and IJM Social Media Channels, but the free entry fee and free photogenic entry must be used at the designated NAM/IJM pageant event.
How long does the photo contest last?
All photos must be submitted by April 20, 2023 at 11:59pm PST.
When are the winners and runners-up announced?
The winners and runners-up in each age group will be announced on the Official IAM, NAM and IJM Social Media Channels no later than May 5, 2023.
Can a reigning NAM or IJM State Queen apply for The iam Pageant Powerhouse Photo Contest and win all the prizes?
Yes! If you are a reigning NAM or IJM state queen you automatically qualify for iam Internationals 2023. If you place in the top five for your age group, the pageant award credit will be applied to iam Internationals 2023 account.
II am a NAM State Finalist. Does entry into the photo contest count as my photogenic entry or yearbook photo for my NAM State Pageant?
No. Entry into the international photo contest does not count as your photogenic entry or yearbook photo. You will still need to submit your photo for the yearbook and enter the photogenic contest at your state pageant. This contest is completely separate and run solely by The iam International Office.
